Calls for Pause in Legitimate I don't know if the people who are claiming that Yasser Arafat recently condemned the terrorist bombing against Israel, in Arabic, are fools, liars or just OPEC spin-doctors, but that little Saudi owned and operated weasel certainly seems to have put it over on a lot of people. The problem is, I actually SAW the news segment that everyone is praising him for, and, that ain't the way I hear'd it, sonny. He did not "condemn" the "suicide bombings" as "terrorist acts." Oh, sure, he did it in Arabic, but all he ACTUALLY did was to mumble a half-hearted call for a halt to, and I quote, "tactical explosive operations" against Israel. Get your head out, guys. His incorporation of the term "tactical operations" was clearly intended to imply that these scurrilous acts terrorism by a bunch of murderous scum with entirely too much time on their hands are somehow part of a legitimate military operation. (Now, THAT, is "CONDEMNING!") Yasser Arafat clearly DID NOT refer to the bombings as "TERRORIST ACTS," and he certainly DID NOT "CONDEMN" them. It was more like he was calling for a temporary pause in the ongoing military operations against Israel in order to curry sympathy with the knee-jerk liberals and brain-dead morons out there. (Sorry, that was redundant.) . The thing that bothers me the most about all this is that our (alleged) President seems to have fallen for Arafat's (rude reference to feces of the male bovine variety), and is praising that malignant little malefactor up one side and down the other. The alarming liberal tendencies he has been exhibiting lately, notwithstanding, since I refuse to believe that anyone who could con his way into such a high office could possible be THAT stupid, the only possible answer is that George Bush is, in fact, a Saudi dupe… just like Yasser Arafat. |
